It’s amazing how narrow the streets are. I wonder if people chat while they sit on their balconies? I wonder if the people who live upstairs own the shops down stairs? I imagine families who have lived in these neighborhoods for generations and everybody knows everone else and their business. It’s fun to imagine this, reality may be totally different.

Thanks for that – I really enjoyed that image.
Apparently this street, in particular, would be unrecognizable in Summer as it is absolutely bustling with people, life, tables, food and drinks. The atmosphere would be amazing given, as you point out, the narrowness of the street.
I’ve only ever travelled through Europe, never lived there, but I always get the sense that life is a bit slower, more relaxed. Whether that’s just because I’m on vacation or whether it’s reality is another issue, I suppose.

I’m glad to hear that. I don’t always get to invest my imagination into your photos. But it is a lot of fun when I do.
