In and Around

This page will showcase Victoria, my home state, specifically my beloved home town of Melbourne.

It is broken up into three areas: Landmarks, On the Map and Off the Map.

To complete this task, I will ride the rails of the Melbourne metropolitan public transport service to visit each station. I will try to capture the beautiful areas that make up this great city. Some suburbs that deserve individual recognition, unfortunately, do no have train stations. I will either include these suburbs within a closeby train station or, simply, add it in as a unique post. The posts “On the Map” are literally places I’ve visited simply by train/tram/bus.

“Off the Map” will feature the beautiful places of Victoria that need alternate transport to reach from my home (i.e. by Diesel train/car/etc).

“Landmarks” will feature specific landmarks within this state that I feel are particularly noteworthy (and, of course, have time to visit!).

These posts will not go up in any particular order – so if your station isn’t here yet, it hopefully will be soon!

For those interested, “the map” can be found by clicking on this link.

I hope you enjoy the journey: All aboard!
